Baked Egg & Saffron Halwa
Ingredients
- 2 Cups + 1 Cup Milk
- 6 Tbsp Milk Powder
- 525 Gms Sugar
- 1 Tsp Saffron Dissolved In 1 Tbsp Boling Water
- 175 Gms Almonds Blanched And Ground
- 10 Eggs Beaten- yellow Food Colour
- 230 Gms Butter

Instructions
Heat 2 cups of milk with the sugar till the sugar is dissolved. Set aside to cool.Blend the remaining 1 cup milk with the almonds to form a paste. Mix the almond pste witheggs, milk, butter,milk powder and saffron. Stir in the yellow food colour. Pour the micture into a baking tray and sprinkle almonds and pistas on top.Bake on markno.4/350 degrees F./180 degrees C.for 45 minutes till it is golden brown.Let the halwa cool and later cut into diamond shape.
