Dal Saag

Ingredients
- 250 Gms Moong Dal
- 2 Cups Spinach Chopped
- 1/2 Bunch Dill Chopped
- 3 Bunches Fenugreek Chopped
- 1 Tsp Salt
- 1 Tsp Turmeric Powder
- 1 Tsp Red Chilily Powder
- 1 Tsp Ginger / Garlic
- 2 - 3 Cups Water

- 1 Onion Chopped
- 1 Tsp Cummin Seeds
- 8 Red Chillies
- 1 Tsp Garlic Crushed
- 1/4 Cup Oil Or Ghee

- 1/2 Bunch Coriander Leaves Chopped
- 3 - 5 Green Chillies Chopped

Instructions

Pick out any stones that might be in the dal. Cook the dal with all the ingredients listed under column 1 till the dal is tender. Mash the dal lightly on the sides of the pot with the back of a wooden spoon. In a small saucepan, heat the oil and put in all the ingredients listed under column 2. Stir for 1 - 2 minutes. Pour this over the dal and garnish with the items listed under column 3.
