Fruit Jam
Preparation time : as required
Ingredients:
4 cups peaches, chopped and peeled
4 cups pears, chopped and peeled
1 cup apples, chopped and peeled
1/4 cup lemon juice
5 cups sugar
Method:
1-Combine fruit and cook slowly until tender, about 15 minutes. 2-Add lemon juice and sugar. Bring to boil, stirring frequently. 3-Boil to jam stage, about 15 minutes. When jam stage is reached, remove from heat. Stir and skim for five minutes.4-Pour into sterilized jars cool and seal. 5-Process 10 minutes in boiling water bath.
