Serving: 8 rotis Preparation time: 15 mins Ingredients: Whole wheat flour: 2 cups Peas: 1 1/2 cups Salt: 2 ts Lime juice: 2 tb Mint or coriander leaves: 1 cup Ghee or oil: 2 tb Pepper: 1/2 ts Water for kneading Ghee or oil for frying: 8 tb The Steps: Preparation : Shell, boil and mash the peas and chop the leaves. Preparation : 1) Sift whole wheat flour with salt. 2) Rub in 2 tb ghee or oil. 3) Add mashed peas and mix thoroughly. 4) Add pepper, coriander or mint with lime juice. 5) Knead well and divide into 8 equal portions. 6) Shape them into round balls. 7) Roll each ball on a floured board into a circle 5" (12 cm) diameter. 8) Shallow-fry on a hot griddle one at a time with 1 or 2tb ghee or oil until both sides are well cooked.
