Hot Sauce
Preparation time: 30 mins Ingredients:
Red tomatoes:
1 kg Dry red chillies:
6 Onion:
1 Carom seeds:
1/4 ts Sugar:
3 ts Oil:
2 tb Salt: To taste
The Steps: Preparation : Chop the onion. Preparation :
1) Soak the chillies in 1/2 cup water for 15 minutes.
2) Fry the onions for a bit.
3) Add the tomatoes and the chillies (with the water) and cook till the tomatoes are soft.
4) Blend the mixture in a liquidiser and strain the sauce.
5) Add the carom, sugar and salt and boil for at least 10 minutes. Calories: 25 per tb
Suggested Accompaniments: Any vegetable or meat dish.
