Karai Ghosht
Ingredients
- 1/2 Cup Oil Or Ghee
- 1/4 Tsp Turmeric Powder
- 500 Gms Mutton Pieces With Bones
- 1/2 Tsp Black Pepper
- 250 Gms Tomatoes Finely Chopped
- 1/4 Tsp Black Cummin Seeds
- 1 Tsp Salt
- 1 Tsp All Spice -2 Tsp Red Chilly Powder
- 2 Tbsp Yoghurt
- 1 Tsp Ginger / Garlic
- 5 - 6 Green Chillies
- 1 Large Onion Finely Chopped
- fresh Coriander Leaves Chopped
- 1 Tsp Coriander Powder
Instructions
In a karhai or wok put the oil, mutton, tomatoes, salt, red chilly powder, ginger / garlic and onions. Cook over a medium heat till the meat is quite tender. Add to this the coriander powder, turmeric powder, black pepper, black cummin seeds and all spice. Stir and cook for some time till the oil seperates. Add the yoghurt, green chillies and let it cook cook for a few minutes. Turn into a serving dish and sprinkle the coriander leaves on top.
