Malai Khaja
Ingredients
- Maida 1 Pao
- ghee 1 Tbsp
- colour Green 1/2 Tsp
- colour Pink 1/2 Tsp
- water For Kneading
- sugar 1/2 Kgkhoya 1 Pao
- raisins 1 Oz
- ghee 1 Kg For Frying
- aluminium 1/4 Tsp
- arrow Root Powder 1/4 Cup
- kewra
Instructions
Rub ghee in maida and make dough. Take out 3 small balls of dough. Put green clolor in one ball, in the next one put pink color and leave the last one white. Roll out the pink ball, green ball and white one very thin. Make 2 rotis out of green and pink. Make paste with arrow root, ghee and aluminium. Spread this paste on the rotis and roll the roti. Cut small pieces. In the khoya mix raisins, roll one small pera and fill khoya paste and roll another pera and put on top. Close the corners. Fry in luke warm ghee. In another pan make sugar syrup. After frying remove and put sugar syrup on top of it. Sprinkle kewra water and rose petals.
